At St. Stephen's School, we are committed to ensuring our school provides an environment free of abuse, exploitation, and harassment. With resources and materials provided by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas (EDOT), the Safeguarding God's Children training and certification teaches us best practices to safeguard all of the children entrusted to our care.

The Safeguarding God's Children Certification Process is an online process consisting of an interview, application, reference checks, background checks, and in-person training class. All parents who intend to volunteer on campus in any way are required to take this training. Certification in Safeguarding God's Children enables parents to participate in any classroom activities and any school events such as classroom birthday celebrations, Spring Festival, Teddy Bear Picnic, Cookie Walk, overnight trips, camps, etc.

To begin the process, please contact the Office of Campus Life by email (admission@ssesh.org) or phone (713-821-9100).
