FINANCIAL AID AT ST. STEPHEN’S
At St. Stephen’s, we seek to be accessible for as many families as possible who value our learning opportunities for their children. We understand that affording a highly impactful learning experience often requires sacrifice. Financial Aid is the tool we use to make our community accessible. Financial Aid is budgeted annually and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board. Nonetheless, there are more applications for assistance than funds available; therefore, we use the following practices to distribute aid responsibly:
- New students must be mission-appropriate and in good standing with their previous school.
- Current accounts must be up-to-date to be considered for aid in the subsequent year.
- All awards are based on family needs as determined by a third-party assessment.
The policy of the school and FAST is to partner with parents in financing their child’s education. Therefore, all families receiving Financial Aid at St. Stephen’s Episcopal make some contribution toward the total cost of tuition.

The priority deadline for Financial Aid is January 22.
St. Stephen’s Episcopal School uses a third-party financial assessment and income verification process for Financial Aid applicants – FAST, operated by Independent School Management. St. Stephen’s Episcopal School holds all information received from FAST confidential, and only a small select committee of the school reviews that information. Aid is awarded annually; the amount awarded is subject to change each year. Financial Aid applications are resubmitted each year during the re-enrollment period. (Please use your name as it appears on your tax return.)

If you have any questions about the application process, please call the FAST Call Center at 877-326-FAST (3278) open 24/7. After completing the application, please mail copies of your tax documents to the address below. Please do not send any originals, and do not fax or e-mail the tax information.
