Our Approach

Our Safety Procedures are informed by input from parents and caregivers as well as by guidelines and recommendations issued by health, governmental, and licensing agencies.
Our plan relies on public health strategies, including:
  • social distancing,
  • wearing face coverings,
  • washing hands frequently,
  • enhanced cleaning of learning spaces and materials,
  • symptom screening,
  • clinical testing,
  • contact tracing and
  • quarantine requirements.
Our plan also relies on our community’s collective commitment to keeping our friends safe by keeping sick children at home.

COVID-19 Resource Center

Please do not bring children to school sick. Please do not medicate feverish children before school. Please arrive on time so that teachers can assess children seamlessly, before class begins. Please allow adequate time for the additional safety processes for all drop offs and pick ups.

You must immediately send an email to interimhead@ssesh.org

  • IF your child tests positive for COVID-19 or
  • IF your child has been in close contact with a person with COVID-19 (e.g., within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes).

Please also direct any inquiries or concerns related to COVID-19 to interimhead@ssesh.org
